Asbestos management

The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006 require owners, occupiers and managers of commercial premises to manage asbestos.  

Duty holders need to demonstrate that they have the necessary management strategies and controls in place to prevent exposure to asbestos within properties under their control.

We offer a comprehensive service that enables clients to identify whether there are asbestos containing materials in their premises and help them manage the risks as required in the regulations. 

Sypol is accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) for surveying and sampling of asbestos and suspected asbestos materials. Sypol uses UKAS accredited laboratories for the analysis of bulk samples for asbestos content.
