This two day course is designed for qualified Manual Handling Instructors who need to refresh their skills.

- Legislation, particularly Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992
- Ergonomics: ergonomic assessment - reduction of risk - job design - case study and assessment
- Working safely: principles of safe lifting and moving techniques - practical lifting, pushing and pulling exercises
- Manual handling practical exercises
- Practical skills assessment
There will be a written examination, feedback and assessment of candidate performance.
