Display Screen Equipment (DSE) assessments

We offer a range of VDU workstation health & safety training and DSE risk assessment services and products. These are designed to reduce the risk of musculoskeletal discomfort, eye strain, headaches, fatigue and stress, and to meet the requirements of the Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992. 

Complete assessment

A visit to identified users to complete individual DSE risk assessments. Completed questionnaires, individual reports and an action plan for improvements required are provided.

Training & assessment

Training of VDU operators in the requirements of workstation health & safety enables them to check their own workstations against the requirements of the regulations, using detailed and user friendly questionnaires. Reports and action plans are provided to ensure management is aware of the main issues and can implement and monitor corrective actions.

Assessor training

Training modules enable staff to become assessors themselves, allowing them to demonstrate a working knowledge of legal requirements relating to display screen equipment. This is offered either inhouse or as a public course.

Online DSE training software

Purchasing our SafetySmart product enables organisations to have access to an online DSE training and risk assessment programme in addition to other chosen health and safety applications. 

Flexible support services

If only short-term help is required due to the constraints of inhouse resources, we can provide back-up support on any of the elements outlined above.
