Tim has 25 years experience as a health and safety practitioner, having started his professional career in the construction industry, where he worked for two national construction groups as a health and safety advisor. He joined Sypol Limited during 1995 to work as lead consultant on CDM and construction related consultancy.
Working as a member of Sypol's consultancy team, Tim delivers consultancy at a senior level. He has line management responsibility for a number of consultants within the team whilst still delivering consultancy work for a number of key clients. Projects of work typically include health and safety management reviews and audits, construction health and safety management reviews and advice, risk assessment work, Fire Risk Assessment, Disability Discrimination Access Audits and asbestos management advice.
Tim delivers consultancy and training on mainland Europe as well as in the UK and is the dedicated Project Manager for a number of multi-international clients managing a team of European Associate consultants. Training skills include the development of bespoke courses as well as delivering lectures for the NEBOSH general Certificate.
Tim is a Chartered Member of IOSH (CMIOSH), Corporate Member of the International Institute of Risk & Safety Management (MIIRSM), Member of Association of Project Safety (MaPS), Birmingham Environmental Health and Safety Association and Chertsey Construction Health and Safety Group
Tim is also a Registered Safety Practitioner (RSP), qualified in Basic Food Hygiene (CIEH), a NEBOSH approved trainer and delivers CITB approved training courses.
