SYPOL LTD (UKAS Asbestos Accreditation)

Sypol has provided asbestos survey services since 1979 and employs a discreet team of surveyors qualified and trained to undertake asbestos surveys. The Asbestos Survey Team are mainly graduates all holding the BIOH P402 certificate or a higher qualification. Sypol has been UKAS accredited for asbestos surveys since 2004.

The Sypol Asbestos Survey Service is an accredited Type C inspection body and delivers Types 1, 2 and 3 surveys of buildings for the presence of asbestos containing materials and priority assessments. Samples are sent to UKAS accredited laboratories in other organisations. Sypol does not operate laboratories nor engage in asbestos removal operations.

The objective of the Sypol Asbestos Services Team, taken from our policy manual is to:

"Ensure that customers are provided with the necessary information and support to ensure that their staff and any 'others' affected by their undertaking are not made ill through exposure to inhalable asbestos fibres."
